Bancroft Architects + Engineers Again Earns Diversity Award

March 4, 2013 –

For the third straight year, Bancroft Architects + Engineers has been named one of the Top 100 Diversity-Led Businesses in America by DiversityBusiness.com.  Selected from more than one million diversity-owned businesses across the country, the award reflects Bancroft’s continued commitment to the core values learned in service to country.

“We’re not simply a disabled-Veteran led firm,” said Bancroft principal Mel Janczak.  “We’re an incredibly talented architect and engineering company that happens to have eminently qualified, and gifted disabled Veterans at every level in the organization, including at the top.”

The “Top 100” list offers a comprehensive look at the strongest segment of the United States economy – America’s privately held companies. The listed companies represent the most recognized and respected in the diversity segment, companies that differentiate themselves in the current, indeterminate market place.

Mr. Kenton Clarke, President and CEO of DiversityBusiness.com, congratulated Bancroft on the consecutive awards, “Bancroft consistently serves as an inspiration, motivating and honoring the Veteran community.  Their dedication and hard work has created incentive to further stimulate economic growth in America, specifically within the Veteran and disabled Veteran communities.”

In addition to the award-winning work Bancroft Architects + Engineers has done for clients around the world over the last year, the company is especially proud of the volunteer work done to support Veterans.  “It’s not enough for us to be a disabled Veteran-led company,” said Janczak.  “We’re a company that leads, by giving back every day.”

Bancroft will be presented its award at the “13th Annual National Business Awards Ceremony and Conference” at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 24 – April 26, 2013.
