Bancroft Engineer Executive to Serve Veterans with Senator Kirk’s Staff
Bancroft Engineers President and CEO, Paul Jenkins, has been named to United States Senator Mark Kirk’s Veterans Advisory Council. In speaking about Kirk’s appointment of Jenkins to the Council, Kirk spokesman Patrick Tiederman said, “Mark Kirk has made a career of identifying talented, dedicated people, and then engaging them for advice and counsel to help him make informed decisions for the citizens of Illinois. There aren’t many people more talented or experienced in veterans affairs, or more dedicated to that cause than Paul Jenkins.”
“It’s an honor for me to be selected to serve veterans through participation with our elected officials.” said Jenkins. “Being asked by Senator Kirk, given his long Navy career, is a special honor. I jumped at the opportunity because I know the Senator’s commitment to help veterans is second-to-none.”
The announcement from Senator Kirk’s office made mention of the fact that Jenkins comes from a military family, is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and that he served in diverse fields while in the military, from Special Forces to aviation. “Paul is the General Secretary of the national organization that represents service-disabled veterans. That, coupled with his many other noteworthy achievements in continuing support of those who serve or have served in the military make him an ideal person to serve in this capacity.” said Tiederman.
