Bancroft Hires new Mechanical Engineer and Project Architect!
Bancroft Architects + Engineers, a Chicago-based service-disabled Veteran owned small business, is pleased to announce the addition of a Mechanical Engineer and a Project Architect to their Elk Grove design studio.
David Greene, E.I.T., LEED, A.P. has over 20 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer whose work has included engineering design and construction administration of mechanical systems for institutional, commercial, residential and educational facilities. His mechanical system experience includes, VAC, VVT, DX, including chilled water, hot water, and steam.
Greene graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.
In his spare time he likes to engage in activities such as basketball, tennis and playing piano. He is also a basketball referee.
Dan Broggi, AIA, NCARB is a registered Architect with over 30 years of experience in design collaboration, project management and construction administration with a clear understanding of the balance between design innovation and financial constraints. He has varied experience in many project types; from public libraries to national retail programs, health care facilities, custom private residences and historic preservation.
Broggi graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institue in 1983 and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Studies, NY, Advanced Design Workshop in 1981.
Broggi moved to Chicago in September of 2013 from Boston, where he had lived for 25 years. He bought a mid-century modern house in Rolling Meadows and has started a blog to remember what work has transpired during his renovations. He is also an avid cyclist, competing in RAGBRAI yearly. Other interests include attending concert festivals and engaging in live music.
