Bancroft Named to US Delegation for Conference in Tokyo
April 15, 2013 –
For the second consecutive year, Bancroft Architects + Engineers has been asked to participate as a member of the United States Trade Delegation. In 2012, Bancroft executives were asked to be a part of the delegation that traveled to Mumbai, India to present to the International Medical Conference. This year, Bancroft designers will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan to present to the international biotech community.
“It’s highly unusual for us to ask the same company to represent the United States twice, and almost unheard of to have companies participate in consecutive years,” said Terry LaRocca, the organizer for the US delegation. “But the fact is that Bancroft is so impressive, and gave such an impactful presentation to the international medical community last year that we felt it would be irresponsible if we didn’t solicit their participation this year.”
The conference, and associated convention, will be held in Tokyo’s Big Sight International Convention Center from May 9-12. With more than 300,000 anticipated attendees, the conference is one of the largest in the world that supports the rapidly-developing fields of biotechnical research and life sciences. Bancroft executives will be among a list of conference presenters that reads like a who’s who in the field.
