Geo. Bancroft Engineering, LLC is in the process of merging with one of the Midwest’s leading small, technology-centric architectural firms, Facilities Solutions Group of suburban Chicago (www.FacSol.com). Together, the firms will comprise a complete engineering and architecture Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, enabling the team to compete even more effectively for projects around the world. Facilities Solutions Group brings a team of ten professionals to GBE, and a diverse portfolio of leading-edge projects. Bancroft President Paul Jenkins had this to say of the merger, “I am thrilled to have the design professionals of FSG as part of Geo. Bancroft Engineering. For more than a decade they’ve been doing sensational, highly-technical work that makes the two companies a perfect match.”
One of Facilities Solutions Group’s principals, Bill Hartzell, said, “We first heard of them, we were immediately impressed by Bancroft’s engineers, and the incredible work they’ve done through the years. Plus, it’s an honor to be a part of a team led by service-disabled veterans; I feel we’re part of the national commitment to providing opportunities for war veterans.”
Once the merger is complete, the parent service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) will be named Bancroft Architects and Engineers, with the two branches of the company retaining their respective names and primary functions (engineering for GBE and architecture for FSG).
