Hail and Farewell

We welcome Dania Melendez to the team. She’s just completed her Master of Architecture from the School of the Art Institute. She’ll be taking Joe DeRicco’s place here at Bancroft, as Joe takes a leave of absence to go back to Ohio State to finish his formal education in architecture.

My sense is that if those two schools ever met on the football field, the Buckeyes might have a problem. The Fighting Paint Brushes?

Speaking of schools, Delantrea Bibbs has been invited back to speak to architectural students at her alma mater, Tuskegee University. No surprise to learn that Delantrea was a star at school, because even in a field of exceptional designers, she’s a star here at Bancroft.

From sea to shining sea:

In the past week, Bancroft has earned five interviews for major healthcare projects around the country—including Buffalo to the east and Seattle to the west. It’s not all interviews, with Bancroft this week contracted for two significant scientific projects in the Pacific Northwest.
